Some stories take a lifetime to find their rhythm. Ours began 22 years ago - by chance - when two strangers from opposite sides of the world crossed paths and felt an instant connection. John, from the quiet beauty of the New Forest in England, and I, from the bright lights of Las Vegas, became fast friends. But at the time, life had other plans.We were both married, building families and futures in different worlds. As the years passed, we each went through our own chapters - love, loss, growth, and new beginnings. The timing was never right, but somehow, the thread between us never broke.For over a decade, we stayed in touch, checking in across the miles and sharing life’s milestones from afar. Looking back, it feels as though something - fate, perhaps - kept us connected, waiting quietly for the moment when everything would finally fall into place.That moment came, unexpectedly, in 2023. John reached out, offering me an extra ticket to the Eras Tour concert in London. I said yes, and we met for a drink the night before the show - our first time seeing each other in 13 years. The second our eyes met, everything else faded. John likes to say that from the moment I walked out of the hotel door, he knew his life would never be the same.From that night on, our story began again. By the following September, John made the brave choice to follow his heart, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Exactly one year later, he brought me back to that very same hotel - the place where our second chapter began - and asked me to be his forever. With a full heart and happy tears, I said yes.Today, I’m retired from my Halloween staging company and spend my time between our homes in Los Angeles, my safari lodge in South Africa, and our home in the New Forest. John owns a design firm specializing in website design and is based in the south of England, planning to retire in the next few years. I have three wonderful sons - Dawson (25), Evan (21), and Noah (18) - who are thrilled to see this next chapter unfold.After years of near misses and second chances, we’ve finally found our way back to each other - and this time, the timing is perfect. Our story has come full circle, and it’s only just beginning.

Tauvia is my oldest friend the one who has been beside me since my Vegas teenage years, through wild adventures, packed up suitcases and all the uncertainty of growing up. Tauvia is the constant in my ever changing chapters. Always shows up with the same love and ease. A forever friend in every sense.

Peez is the quiet anchor walking me down the isle, the friend with the thoughtful edge who often disappears into his own silence but never from me. He shows up without question, he fills the quiet moments with obscure facts and music trivia. He may be reserved to the world, but with me his loyalty is unwavering.  His friendship and love lives forever in the small steady way he's always been there.

Gray came into my life in 2022. Fresh from NYC and instantly impossible to miss. She's full of light, a spark you simply cant put out. I had the joy of babysitting her - days filled with Taylor sing alongs, Lego building and fun with my favourite little Swiftie! Gray amazes me every day just how brave she is and it's a real honour to watch her grow.

My boys 25, 22 and 18 have stood by me through all the ups and downs in life. They've grown into the most supportive and wonderful sons I could ever ask for. They make me laugh, smile and I am endlessly proud of the men they are becoming. Forever grateful to be their Mum.

Stephen is my oldest and dearest friend from junior school. Nerds, fans of Star Wars and music - Stephen has guided me (rather sarcastically) through all the ups and downs of life. A  constant voice in my head and a complete numbers man who can spreadsheet a guys trip like no other, leaving me to be the "happy cat" along for the ride.

Simon is ever the Eyore to my Tigger - another good friend from my school days. We now also work together on many website & design projects - without his stress-free attitude and meticulous planning, they would never be completed! Looking like an ex-Top Gear presenter, his model making skills are beyond compare, these are only matched by hs encyclopaedic knowledge of 80s references. A fellow Star Wars nerd, we also share a love of all things Pet Shop Boys...actually.

Trina is the best sister anyone could ask for, she brings sunshine in every room. She always finds the bright side, no matter what life throws her way. Her laughter is a comfort and her heart is the safest place I know. She has been my cheerleader, lifting me up and loving me, without hesitation. I am staying in Bath. How do I get to the events?

If you are staying at The Gainsborough, we will arrange transport for you. If you chose to stay elsewhere in Bath, you will need to arrange your own transport.

How do I get to and from the events?

We will provide transport for both Friday and Saturday for you if you are staying at Woolley Grange and The Gainsborough Spa. Please check back on the website for details. Our wedding planners will also be in touch nearer the time.If you chosse to stay somewhere else you will need to sort your own transport.

What is Belcombe Court?

Belcombe Court is a stunning Grade I listed Georgian house. Originally built in 1700 Belcombe Court was altered considerably in 1734 by architect John Wood the Elder, one of the best know architects of the day, who was famous for designing many of the finest buildings in Bath. Today a private home, Belcombe Court stands in 60 acres of formal gardens, parkland and woodland. The attention-to-detail throughout the property is what makes Belcombe Court so captivating. The oak doors are thick, the coved ceilings and moulded cornices draw your eyes upwards, whilst the brickwork creates a rich tapestry throughout the estate.

What day should we arrive in the UK?

Aim to arrive in the UK no later than Thursday 3rd September as the celebrations commence on Friday afternoon.

One small request: no black for the welcome evening. We’d love the lawn filled with colour. For the Wedding Day, we invite you to bring the glam. Gentlemen: formal wedding attire please - think classic tailoring, linen suits, light summer colours or traditional black tie if you prefer. Ladies: this is your moment.
